These terms apply to the Archive app (listed as Archive That) and this website, provided by Clova Inc. By using them, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the service. Questions: contact@joinclova.com.

Using Archive

Archive helps you discover and save creative references. You must be at least 13, meet the applicable minimum age in your region, and have a parent or guardian’s permission if you are not legally able to agree to these terms yourself. Use the service lawfully and respectfully. Do not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malicious code, or infringe anyone’s rights.

Accounts and your library

Where accounts are available, provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity through your account. Contact us if you suspect unauthorized use. Current libraries are stored on your device and are not cloud-synced. Clearing data or removing the app can remove your library. Account deletion is available in supported versions through Settings or by contacting support.

Content and intellectual property

Clova Inc. and its licensors retain rights in Archive’s software, branding, and original content. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the service under these terms and applicable platform rules.

Referenced works remain subject to their original rights and source terms. A save or source link does not grant permission to reuse a work. Check the original source and license before copying, adapting, or publishing it. Public-domain status can vary by jurisdiction. Creative associations are editorial suggestions and do not imply endorsement by an artist or institution.

Recommendations and external services

The quiz and taste types are playful creative interpretations, not scientific assessments or professional advice. Recommendations may not suit every person. External websites, archives, and sign-in providers are operated independently and have their own terms. We do not control their content, availability, or practices.

Availability and changes

We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue features, or restrict access for misuse or legal reasons. Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice of material changes. You may stop using Archive at any time. The current edition is free and has no paid subscription or in-app purchases.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of locally stored references, to the extent allowed by law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled and how to make privacy requests.

Apple and applicable law

Apple is not a party to these website terms and is not responsible for Archive support. Your use of the iOS app is also subject to applicable App Store terms and Apple’s standard licensed application end user license agreement unless a separate applicable license is supplied. These terms do not replace or reduce rights under that agreement.

These terms are governed by California law, except where your local consumer law requires otherwise. Mandatory consumer protections and rights to bring claims in your home jurisdiction remain in effect. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply.

Updates and contact
